The light lanes project involved the installation of fiber optic conduit
in the right-of-ways (ROWs) of several Washington interstates, and
a short segment of State Highway. Prior to commencing
construction, our client contracted G-Logics to develop a database
of areas with environmental contamination and to correlate these
locations to milepost locations along the highway ROWs.
G-Logics reviewed ROW maps at our client's offices, consolidated
EPA and Ecology environmental databases, and aligned the results

with current Washington State Department of Transportation highway maps.

For this project, G-Logics developed a relational database that compiled the environmental information gathered for specified locations along the ROWs. G-Logics used this database to identify locations of potential environmental concern and highlight potential contaminants associated with these areas of the project.
