Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I, II, & III)

We conduct environmental assessments in phases in order to gather information systematically and cost effectively. We work with our clients to establish a scope of environmental services that is consistent with our clients' budget and risk-management practices. The typical services included in each phase are described below:

Phase I ESA services include a review of
agency databases, a historical-record
review, interviews with current and
previous site owners/workers, a review of
historical aerial photographs, a site
reconnaissance, and preparation of a report.
At the request of our client, the ESA can
also include asbestos, lead-paint,
environmental auditing, and other property-
liability issues.

Phase II ESA services characterize possible contamination and begin to quantify the extent and level
of environmental risk. This phase may involve sampling (often with soil borings or backhoe test pits),
the use of geophysical surveys, and/or the installation of groundwater monitoring wells. G-Logics

prepares reports regarding the nature and extent of contaminants discovered on the property during this phase.

Phase III ESA activities may include additional exploration, risk assessments, feasibility reviews, PLP searches, and/or site remediation. We have designed and implemented a full range of standard and innovative remedial systems, such as bioremediation, air-sparging, and vapor-extraction systems. We also provide monitoring and regulatory-liaison support to facilitate the cleanup process.
